ipod shuffle clone 1G problem

For Sigmatel chip based and others non-S1 players, such as ATJ2075-based. (NOTE: these are NOT S1 Players and the guides on this site will not help with these players)

What shuffle is it? Apple? S1 clone?

Maybe read the manual, to see what the blinking light means. What format are the files you wan't to listen to? Where did you get them?

when i plug it to computer, even it is a 1G player, and it is usualy more than 50% full of files, windows explorer shows no file but " SETTINGS.DAT " which its volume 0 Kb, I tryed to format it using windows and many other softwares "HP, my mp3 player utilities" but nothing can format it!!!! they can reach the memory flash!

then when I delete that Settings.dat file then unplug n plug again the mp3 player, it still there that file ........

Can any body who gets the same player working send us that file, maybe its the problem's cause ........

How many songs do you have currently in the root of the player? Try putting them into folders then add your new songs and see if that works. I know some players have a limit of 99 files in one folder (ie: root of the player) and it won't allow more.

Look about this limit here: http://s1mp3.org/en/docs_userguide.php#pen_drive
