No device found

For Sigmatel chip based and others non-S1 players, such as ATJ2075-based. (NOTE: these are NOT S1 Players and the guides on this site will not help with these players)

My recently bought Titan 4 GB MP3 player is based on another ALi chip.

Ali (or ALi) chips are different from Sigmatel, s1 and ATJ chips, so the Sigmatel firmware extractor and the s1fwx will not work to extract their firmware.

I just found a program that promises to extract firmware from Ali, it's Firmware Hammer 1.0 and I only could find it on http://abdiradit.com/?p=6 (refered from http://www.mympxplayer.org/viewtopic.php?t=10783 ). I haven't proven it because it only works on Windows xp and I have Windows 2000.

ALi chipset files

Postby windom » Sun Dec 21, 2008 2:20 am

Since the links to download files on http://abdiradit.com/?p=6 were uploaded to the disappeared site ziddu.com, I decided to upload to Rapidshare the files as I found them elsewhere.

ALi CHIPSET FILES:

Firmware Hammer 1.0 (only works on Windows xp and Vista)
http://rapidshare.com/files/175329810/f ... _only_.zip

MPTool (also known as Factory4)
http://rapidshare.com/files/175328651/MPTool.zip

M566xISP
http://rapidshare.com/files/175328649/M566xISP.zip
-The firmware extractor program is M5661ISP_0.79.00.exe, press "Save PM" to extract the firmware of an MP3 player.
-The "Auto ID" button will in most cases identify the type of flash memory used in the player

I found the M566xISP.zip and the mptool.exe on http://randomcontent.hopto.org/mp3player/index.html

I have also extracted the firmware of my Titan 4GB MP3 player (model US-022):
