New Zealand DSE mp3 not booting without battery

Postby ZactheRipper » Sat Mar 13, 2010 7:51 am

I have a DAP of the s1 type and was hoping to use it as a readyboost device, it's 4gb you see and I just got Windows 7.

My old 128mb model would work and transfer without needing a battery, but this 4gb device does for my pc to recognize it.

And since i want to use it for a readyboost device running like 6 hours a day that wouldn't be to practical.

Is there any sort of firmware flash or some thing that will make this work.

If you need to know it's Numbers on the backside of the battery cover is a537908071383

I'm kinda new to the whole s1 mp3 thing but i hope you guys can help.
