Here's something about iPod battery pack dimension:

http://www.sales-battery.com/mp3-and-ip ... n-ipod.htm

It seems that it can't fit in the chinese clone, isn't it?

Yes we know the batteries voltage spec is fine. He wanted to know if it would fit inside the case instead of outside. Upon looking at it I don't think that battery will fit inside the case. However an ipod nano battery may fit. I believe I read a post on the forums here that someone had to trim their board just a little bit.

I've got a 1st gen nano clone with a dead battery too.

Any info on suppliers for battery replacements would be appreciated.

I've had to buy a replacement player rather than a new battery as that is the cheaper option for the moment.

:P

The K300i battery is a LiION, 800 mAh with integrated charging circuit, to add such battery you should take it apart and connect only the cell to the MP3 to use their charge circuit. .

I've just successfuly carried out this Mod with a Nokia 6280 Battery.

Yay for me.

I suppose it will have to suffice until I can find a 3.7v Li-ion Battery with the right dimensions to fit inside the case.

*sigh*

Hello everybody, i have a few questions about this topic:

did anybody use a tester in the cell phone battery?
because i tested a nokia bl-5c battery with 720mah and the voltage in the + and - poles gave me like 4.0v, not 3.7v.

it is have to do with maximun voltage of the battery?

it can be possible to charge it with the usb or wall charger? it is dangerous ?

i have an mp4 stetically similar to an ipod nano if anyone want to know it.

Thanks for make this topic !!!
