Mp4 player, problem connecting to pc

Postby AJF » Wed Apr 15, 2009 8:55 pm

I have a problem with an mp4 player (ipod nano clone) when connecting to windows.
The first time I've used it everything goes perfect, but when I connected it the second time the problems begun: now when I connect it to the pc windows recognize 2 removable drives, in the first one there is a directory and a couple of files all written in strange characters and if I try to open them it says "impossible to open I:/├" and "syntax is not correct". If I try to acces the other drive that appears it says it is non formatted.
The player works fine, it can find songs and plays them. It has the same problem with 2 computers.
I also have another identical mp4 player that works perfectly.
Thanks in advance and sorry fr my bad english.

Did you try to delete all partition and create only one partition?

Right click on "My computer" and choose "Manager". There, you will find "Disk manager" to do that.
