Well, I have an MP4 player (Nano clone), 1.8" screen. This is it:

Note: All pictures has been taken after my player was fully up.

The problem beggins when I try an FW upgrade, a fully themed one. And what I got? A dead player!

Then I try my computer recognize the Mp3, but nothing, so I've made every thing mentioned in this gide (by tadad1):

http://www.mympxplayer.org/dead-player- ... vt567.html

So I open my player and this is what I see:

Only at the first time I have to do a short circuit betwen some pins of the FLASH chip, after that, my computer always recognize the player as an ADFU device every time I've reconect it in the USB port (any USB port).

When I start the "MP3 Player Upgrade Tool" always apears:

"Now is Recover satate, and select the firmware file for recovering please!"

I've tryed so many FW files... I don't know how many, but was... ufff.... many...!

Every single time I try a new FW file, after a few seconds I could see:

"Read or write information failed! Please exit the program and check if device is conecting!"

One time, when I was conecting the player to the computer, I was pressing the player between my fingers, but the player it was open, so I've my thumb over the biggest chip. At this time, My computer recognized it like an USB Massive Storage Device! But when I put the player on the table... Nothing!

What do you think about that? It could be a bad soldering point? Or what?

So I try to soldering every single pin, one by one, using a magnifier glass, and a standar soldering iron with a fine tip (indeed not so fine, but almost new):

It is not so dificult wen you can see what are you doing:

After that.... Oh my...

The player was fully recognized by windows as a "USB Massive Storage Device"

So, even the first time I start the "MP3 Player Upgrade Tool" and load an 3.5.37 FW I have a succefull transfer, and I have a "Blue Screen" in my player! (before that my screen was fully off).
After that, I beggin to load every single "3.5.37 Dump" I found. When finaly I load the compatible Dump... Voila! My player shows: "Loading", and then shows that horrible openinig flower... (I hate it!).

Finally I have this:

But after that, I could replace that horrible flower with this adorable robot:

How can I post my full FW and my Dump in this site?

Hi Schopf !

I send you a file named FW_Dump, containing the firmware and the dump plus two pictures for easy identification of the player.
