OK...
I guess somebody checked it out personally and found that no "messingarounds" are possible.

It's not possible. That IC is an FM radio tunner. Analalog tv ( this also aplies to digital ) broadcast is located on frequencies not covered by the IC tunner band that comes in s1mp3. Also, the IC does not have any TV tunner. Even if it would cover TV frequencies it would not be practically doable to code a tv tunner to run on the processor. A hardware solution would be necessary.

Even if we would fulfill all these restrictions we would still need a high gain antena as image needs a lot beter singal noise ratio than sound and is transmiter in higher frequencies. I think coil antenas ( BTW, whitch kind of tiny antena do these players have? coil right? ) do not have a satisfactory performane for FM stereo reception.
In practice, tv reception would need an antena that whose dimentions would affect your player portability.

Despite all this, i would enjoy to be able to switch the FM tunning of my player to mono mode as sometimes the reception is not good.

My s1mp3 can't receive FM radio if headphones are not plugged in. I guess headphone's wire is used as antena.

-----------------------------------

Would it be posible to transmit audio-video signal on existing FM radio range, make a program that receives it for the player, then you upgrade firmware with it, and have any size picture (even 96x64) and sound (s1mp3 receives stereo signal, right? - now - separate stereo signal into left and right - left signal could be used for sound, and right for video)?

Now, all these would be just some little lame experiments, but I have another idea. That idea is so great and practical that I have to charge money to tell it.

Anyone interested?
(the one who implement this great idea first could earn A LOT of money, wide open market (never before seen!), and also everyone would buy only mp4 player models with this idea (function) implemented)

Have no doubt. Unlike you I know what the idea is. If I was to tell you this idea you would suddenly lose your smile, make a thinking pose and say "Hmm. ...That's an interesting idea."

No, I would lough out even louder! Your idea will not be simple and cheap enough to be implemented, wathever it is ... I'm just too realistic. And if it is adding an extra TV chip, well, why not (OK, antenna and signal problems, but do chinese manufacturers care about this?), however this would be only for some new devices ...

So keep your idea for you and let me continue laughing!

Actualy that idea of mine is far more original than what you proposed. Also, like I said, it would bring profits, not just take money, and it's cheap to implement it. ...

I never had problem of reception for my S1Mp3's FM radio.I think in the far-flung areas one may have such problems of bad signals but instead S1MP3 has excellent capability for powerful capturing of signals.
