Is this a S1 MP3 Player? 1.8" Screen, MP4

Postby Boredom inc. » Sun Aug 26, 2007 9:33 am

Hey everyone,
Just got a new MP4 player. I found a site that sells them, has pictures and feature list but I wanted to know more information. Such as whether more memory can be bought etc.

Does anyone own one of these?

And is this a S1 MP3 player?

Thanks

Dumping Firmware

Postby Boredom inc. » Mon Aug 27, 2007 12:35 pm

Hey,

Ok, I managed to find another post on the website in which someone has my exact MP4 Player and confirms that it is a S1 MP3 Player. Plus I've been fiddling around :P I was wondering if there is any software that is capable of dumping my firmware as it is version 9.0.48

Thanks

Reverse Engineering

Postby Boredom inc. » Tue Aug 28, 2007 12:42 am

I'm a programmer and would be interested in making such a program that is capable of dumping my firmware. However I have never reverse engineered anything before and was wondering if there is anywhere (website etc.) that provides information about reverse engineering S1 MP3 players so that I can extract the firmware.

Thanks
