Hey Juddanaut, I think I have some good news for you by the looks of your sig :). have the exact same player but mine can play MTV and AMV!!! LOL Done by accident, screwed up original firmware I didnt even know what it originally was. I had tried a few different firmwares from this link http://simns.ilbello.com/MP4/modem.htm , then used 3.2.16 from there and now I can play both MTV video files and AMV, MTV is in the music section while AMV has its own video section now :) Im not sure if its just my imagination but I think the battery might be draining faster though. Juddanaut, can you give me a copy of the original firmware for these players from VisualLand? I tried emailing them after i screwed it up but they had said they dont have it lol. Well, just asking for it just incase or maybe we can figure out a way to make the battery last longer with 3.2.16 and still have MTV and AMV :).

Backup your stock firmware and try 3.2.16 from that site :D It might work, if not just install original back...Dont see why it wouldnt work, i got mine from visual land also :)

Alright mate,I have the same MP4 player as u(well it looks the same but not the same make)anyways can u tell me what the online mode does for this, andis there any way I can get video files on it that are of a better quality than the MTV or AMV 1s that I get now.I thought with it being an MP4 player I could just convert my video files to MP4 with Nero and watch them that way,but when I put them on my player they dont show up.I would be very grateful for the help mate.

no, i have seen these things (my friend has one) it is an iRiver H10

Very nice, hard drive or flashed based (upto 10G (or 1G for flash)) colour screen, Firmware UPGRADES!

Defently NOT s1 though :(
Who is General Error and why is he reading my hard drive? :D

Ian,

I don't think so ....

first, because of the menu. It uses rocked icons. Iriver woudn't grab icons from a site in order to make the player design

second, there is no Iriver mark on the photo of the player.

And ... the player plays AMV files! this is another hint to think it might be an s1 ....

and the last : the player was not expensive!!

maybe a chinese clone to iriver case ??

let's wait for alexpp reply!!!
