Yes, you read it right.
Look at Ebay. And they are not expensive either!

I doubt it, factories producing Nano Clones are currently maxed at 2GB.

I dont doubt the available technology, just that in the past we have seen unreputable online sellers hawking "compressed memory" goods. There are a few postings even on this forum about buyers getting shortchanged.

I'm just wondering how ebay sellers got hold of 4/8GB Nano Clones when the manufacturing factories have yet to produce them.

Dont get me wrong, I'm a nano clone user myself and welcome larger memory capacity, that is if the seller is legit.

BTW.. can you share with us the link on ebay?

same problem

Postby julwag » Sat May 13, 2006 4:34 am

I have exactly the same problem than you. My parents bought a fake SONY (but still looks like an Ipod) MP4 4Gb in Beijing, but they feared to go back to france with it, so they gave it to me before going back (I live in Shanghai).

I also formated it, and now 109Mb was left.

I guess it's just a crappy product, but please let me know if you manage to fix it !
