Hello, Barman.

My MP3 player is dead for the moment, and it also needs a firmware 9.0.50.
I could see, searching as far I could trip through the whole internet, that each mp3 player has its own version for the 9.0.50 firmware.
To work exactly like it used to work, you must download a 9.0.50 version that was exactly the same of the one that you used.
I mean, for example, if you had a foston mp3 player of 1 gb 9.0.50, a S1 mp3 player of 5 gb won't work out fine using this one.
It happens because the file has some informations that tells how the firmware makes the mp3 work using the hardware that is installed.
Somethings that I think you should know:
Most players only work right if you format in FAT, not in FAT 32, so the one that told you that was telling you the most probable choice;
If you install a firmware 9.0.43 you can't install a 9.0.50 if you don't format it again. If your mp3 is a 9.0.50 so I think it can't work fully because you replaced it with a lower version.
I maybe writing some ******** here, but I hope I can give you a little clue to deal with this lot of information we are supposed to read to make our mp3 players ressurect.

I saw what you wrote about the contrast change.
When it shows that "it is not an Integer value" it means that the choice you did is not an Integer number, for example 1 or 2 or 3 or 4, etc.
You chosen 3.6, so it is not an integer number, but a floating number.
The firmware you put can't recognize floating numbers, so you can only choose the number 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5, etc.
Is your player showing that it is full, yet?

Connect the mp3 to the pc and click on its properties.
Or the pc can't recognize it?

I don't know a single word in polish, but it seems that a driver is missing for the pc to recognize the mp3.
Seek for a forum that tells something about formated mp3 players, about what to do to make pc recognizeit after formating it.
But before, seek for a forum that tells something about formating mp3, because I still think that you might have formated it in FAT, not FAT 32.
Keep on writing what's happening.
Let's make this sh*t work.

...Ok. Now I need only firmware...

I formated in FAT and I had 1/2 of all space of my mp3. I formated then again but in FAT32 and I have now all space - 2GB.

I don't understand you... What I should do? I have now pendrive 2GB. I only need firmware 9.0.50 for my player. Have you got it? You can use s1clone to extract it from mp3.

Go to the top of this page and enter the link http://s1mp3.org . This site maybe written in polish too, as I could see the Poland banner in its main page.
Seek for a link called "dead recovery guide", in english or polish and there is written what you should do.
I don't have any backup of my bin file and I'm in the same situation you are, but I haven't formated my mp3, because I still believe in miracles and I think one day I can find a holy guy that has made the backup the way I needed.
Enter this link I told you to and do what they say. Open the player, intify the chip number, look for the right firmware that the chip needs blá, blá, blá...
Don't ever forget to write how things are going.
Ah... the picture you showed appeared on mine too. It shows that the mp3 player is full because for the pc the player is locked, like a cd-rom.
And the length of your mp3 is right. It shows only 1 mb to record something. It fits in one floppy disk.
Then you need to put the right firmware on it.

Do you read my topic?! Here is first page: viewtopic.php?p=21977#21977 (...)

I have copy of my original fw but this copy has bugs(I did it in s1fwx but wiRe made new program for v9 players[s1fwx can't extract v9 fw] - this new tool is s1clone - it can extract v9 fw and now I am waiting for copy of 9.0.50 fw for me).

I ask you: Do you have or do you know where I can find fw Wilson Co Ltd 9.0.50 2GB with no FM?

I only need firmware for my mp3... Only fw...

I don't know where you can find it.
Yours doesn't have radio and it gets harder to find.
It looks like each player is a different person that needs a rare blood type.
Each player is one in a million.
Good luck for you! (Wish me good luck too!)
