[Dump firmware]IPOD Nano Fake 8 GO

Hi,

I have two players IPOD Nano Fake 8 GO, that one is dead, It is possible to dump the firmeware from the good one? if yes witch software?

if both players contain the same hardware you can try to "clone" the flash from the working player to the dead one.
just get http://s1clone.s1mp3.de/ for free...
and if it worked, don't forget to donate some money to the author :wink:

another way may be to use s1res (licensed version) to extract a partial firmware.
then use s1fwx to insert the missing files: just replace the empty placeholders generated by the s1res import wizard with those found inside full firmwares (find full firmwares on the web, but ensure they have at least the same version number).
finally use the original mp3 updater tool to flash this "manually assembled" full firmware file (maybe you have to bring your damaged player into recovery mode -> short circuit trick).
