2gb S1 Mp3 Player Wilson Co. Ltd. vers.: 3.5.35 FAKE?

Hi: i have a s1 mp3 from ebay. It's have a decal that says 2GB.. When i read memory info it says 1960 M. But when i store more than 1 Gb some files are un readable.

Everything it's ok, but now i only have 1GB.
Chip memory is Samsung K9K8G08U0M and ATJ2051W.
Is possible to recover 2 GB?..if not...why it come from factory with 1960 M??
