No, please do as Milad said and wait for new tools. The actual ones do not work (or very randomly) with series 9 firmware.

theres no way of having your .fw file from the one you have extracted from your player coz s1fwx cant extract it exactly. at this time, im wondering how mympx have a full firmwares of 9.0.xx series? maybe they have the tool but widtholds it. well this is juz my hypothesis.

No, some dealers are so kind and give the correct firmware either with the player or on their website. Thats where those files are from.

oh i see. but still i wonder, what tool do they use? if it is a manufacturer's tool, then why are these manufacturers still dont want their tool to be public? in the first place, mostly are just imitations of original ones like the makers of ipod clones. why not let the end-users enhanced what those manufacturers came out of their not-so-creative minds.

I think tools like EasyFW are used, but I'm not sure. Tools unlickely come from the manufactureres btw.
