Postby ROGERIOFRC » Sun Sep 16, 2007 7:06 pm

Hi,

My mp4 1Gb have firmware from Wilson Co Ltd. But since a few days it don't recognize more on my PC.

in fact, it recognize but when I click on it, the sistem say Unit not formated, Do?

If I acept the WinXP Pro can't do It. I Download a software HP, to format removible medias, but don't work too.

The player run FM mode, Recording Mode (Del and save files), Settings too.

The size of the memorie is now on 30MB not 1GB.

Please, can someone say to me what to do to recover my mp4.

I think the problem started after windows install automatically a new flash drives, but i don't know if him installed on windows or in my mp4.

If somebody can help me send me and e-mail for rogeriofrc@hotmail.com

Thank's a lot.

Maybe you formatted it using FAT-32. Try to use FAT. There is a tool to format flash memory. Try to find it on google.

Just try to check it with Norton Disk Doctor and it will find the error. If your memory is damaged i dont know how you can fix it but if it is software problem you still have chance to fix the problem. If you think it is wrong drivers then you can download MP3 Utility tools from here:
(if your player plays AMV video) http://s1mp3.org/files/3rdpary_software/MP3%20Player%20Utilities/update_prog_v3.68.7z
(if your player plays MTV video) http://s1mp3.org/files/3rdpary_software/MP3%20Player%20Utilities/update_prog_v3.06.7z
In this tools you have drivers for your device that will be installed automaticly. If you have more than one USB port then try to connect your device on all of them.
Good luck.

Here is the link for flashing:
Product tools v 4.19 [download] industry flashing tool.
I dont know if vanetto is thinking of this software or not.
Just read the manual first.
