Another S1 Player for me :-D

Another Player (128mb NO FM 3.0.43 firmware) for devel work :D

but i did notice this in the manual with NO credit to Wladston:

Shocking :shock: (If you can't tell from the pic, they stole Wladston's picture of the player and put their brand name on it!)

The player is the "Classic" Shape (yay, my first classic S1), and it is black and white, as it is an Alan Shearer (A famous Newcastle United footballer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Shearer) testimonial charity player :D (Doing my bit for charity through buying S1 players to develop :P )

The board ID is H85-09FC MAIN v0.5 2004-10-12

The first thing i did was extract the firmware and took a note of its board id!

So now my player is ready for development! :P
Who is General Error and why is he reading my hard drive? :D

wow!!!!

Incredible!! :) They edited the image to remove the s1mp3.org name :)

I have included a watermark at the bottom right of the original image, can you see if they cared to remove it? :)

Also, did they copy the text of the manual, or only this image ?

Really impressive to see my work on this manual!!! It took me some good hours to make that images .... :)

The S1MP3.ORG water mark has gone

but they did NOT steal the text, that seems to be written by them

Then isn't this some kind of FreeBSD license violation?
after all, they included site content without the copyright notice...

Can we contact them about this?
(and maybe add a little more present watermark, more central, perhaps even overlapping the picture, if the current one is removed so easily)

Come on, wouldn't it be cool if the manual said:
"image courtesy Wladston Viana, copyright http://www.s1mp3.org" :D

well, if they did not include the freebsd license on their doc, yes it is ;)

However, i don't mind, they can use the picts and the text on their manuals ....

at least it will help the end-users ...

I'm new here, and can help the project with some eye candy skills.

I draw my little toy at my spare time, with no ruler or measures, like a exercise to pratice my "scale perception" and just for fun too! 8)

The final result is intersting, I have to admit never found a good s1mp3 color draw like this one over the web! hehe just kiddin :P

The drawing is in my notebook, and I leave it at my office today.

I will try to put it here tomorrow or later to show you guys.

Well, this is my scale attempt taked from my TERATECH S1MP3 Player. I don't like tereatech original logo, so I changed to S1MP3.ORG try out.

This is a vetorial graphic, all job was made with Corel Drawl. no raster images here and yes, the display pixels comes from my face and I update it inside my firmware with all 14 animation frames! :shock:

I did a ""power up" and "power down" animations, and a cool TAITO intro animation, and some s1mp3.org logos! I will put this graphics later.

wow - one more great designer here :) Incredible the vetorial art, very well made ... congratulations!!

I'm ignorant in corel draw - i only use photoshop and rarely illustrator.

Also impressive you made it without a photo on the background ...
