I'll have to do some tests but I think that I have to update my guide : I discovered a method to remove the glass easily and the first steps become very easy... It is not a major update, so when I'll update this guide I'll put also good pic by using my friend's mother's digital camera and by the way a good part of the begin of the guide would be removed.
And just a lil' thing about my player, you'll probably ask me to verify everywhere, but everywhere I looked and nothing I got. I cannot see any board ID!!! Nothing in white is written , BUT I have 2 things written in green : in a white square I have a green "ZD 0411" and next to my (-) battery pole, below my Mini-USB plug : "Ver 1.2 LAURA"... When I discovered that, I decided to name my player Laura =D

Show me a pic of your player, if you can (I have to see it).
You damaged the LCD screen? If you did this I think we can't do anything to fix that. =(
I just read your topic, did you succeed to find a firmware for it? You may have to try a lot of f/w and short-circuit a lot of times. If you find one who works with your player then we will have to mark the f/w compatible with your board ID on the site.
