recovery state, I need full firmware 9.0.51 ACT2093 2.0"

Postby Hypnos » Wed Jun 06, 2007 11:10 pm

Hi, This MP4 player had a hacked memory of 8GB, I didn't know how to remove it and I format it in FAT32 (instead of FAT but I didn't know it wasn't hacked) with windows so player was not more recognized by windows, then I installed mp3 utilities v4.00 and Mp3 player Upgrade tool says me that it is in recovery state so I need the right firmware. I had another one player if this, the same but I don't reach to extract its firmware with s1fwx, it gives me errors. So I wanna ask to you if you can upload a full firmware recovery to my player.

device name: S1 MP3 Player
manufacturer: Wilson Co. Ltd.

The player had this firmware 9.0.51 ACT2093_S75 It has a 2" Screen and it's the same of this image:

I've been reading that s1fwx can't extract firmware 9.x.xx so I can't find now 9.1.51 fw because wiRe(who made programs s1fwx, s1res...) is making a new tool for players v9(v9 = 9.x.xx), Is it right? So i suppose that even if I have two similar players, I cannot extract One firmware from one to put it on the another because there are no softwares who actually can do it.

For players still working:

Series 9 and some 3.5.x firmware do support FAT32 by the way. For 4/8GB player you MUST use FAT32.

PEOPLE LIKE ME ARE SO ANNOYED OF THE FACTORY SETTINGS OF OUR PLAYERS SO WE TEND

TO BRICK OUR PLAYERS TO DEATH AND THEN SHOUTS: "PLEASE GIVE ME THE FIRMWARE

HERE".

S1MP3 IS LIKE A TELEVISION. YOU CANNOT MAKE IT FUNCTION LIKE A RADIO IF IT IS NOT

CAPABLE OF.

TO ACHIEVED THE FUNCTIONALITIES YOU WANT, THEN BUY DIFFERENT KIND OF PLAYERS.

OR ELSE BUY A PC, HAVE ALL MODIFICATIONS ON IT, TIE SOME ROPE ON IT THEN HANG IT

ON YOUR NECK. NOW YOU HAVE AN MP3 PLAYER YOU CAN CALL AS "MODIFIED BY MYSELF!!!"
